Happy Friday fellow wellness seekers!

I hope you had a productive and fullfilling week.

Here’s a shortlist of some of the things I tried and enjoyed over the past week.

Everything I included in this week’s list are things I’ve tried and enjoyed, and would highly recommend to anyone. None of it is sponsored or paid for advertisements. They’re simply new things that I incorporated into my week, that I enjoyed or made me feel good, and I think they would do the same for you.

As always, if there is anything you want to see or hear more about, or experiences you want to share, please leave your thoughts in the comments section below.

What I’m reading - The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, which is about discovering and developing the artist within each of us. If there is a creative dream you wish to pursue, or want to be a more creative person in general, this book, with its insight, daily and weekly exercises, and gentle techniques, will help you get started. This is my second time reading The Artist’s Way, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to be more creative and playful in their life.

What I’m listening to - The Power of Digital Detox with Cal Newport on The School of Greatness with Lewis Howes. This was a powerful discussion about the negative ways in which technology has impacted our mental and emotional health. I had a digital detox planned in the coming weeks and after this podcast, I’m looking forward to it more than ever.

What I’m eating - Roasted and Salted Sacha Inchi Seeds. Apart from the fact that these are delicious, they’re also super clean (only two ingredients!) and great for you. Sacha Inchi is a super seed. The roasted and salted version from Starseed is a great source of Omega 3, 6 and 9; full of powerful antioxidants; high in fiber; and a great complete plant protein source.

How I’m moving- Prenatal Yoga. I added 1-2 classes a week to my workout routine and it is something I look forward to all week. It is so nice to be in a room with other pregnant women, and to be guided through a workout that has been designed for what our bodies are going through. Even once I’m through with this pregnancy, it’s my intention to continue with my yoga practice. It is the most powerful form of exercise there is, and it was seriously lacking in my life for too many years. I’m so glad to have it back!

Product I’m loving - All Natural and Organic Rose Deodorant by Dr. Hauschka. While I’ve been on the natural deodorant train for several years now, most versions absolutely destroy my pits (thanks to baking soda/benzoyl peroxide). I finally found one that I love that contains zero irritating ingredients, with a smell that is so beautiful and delicate - I wish I could use it all over my body! It is a roll on, which does tend leave you with that wet feeling, but I don’t mind since I love the smell and having arm pits that aren’t bright red!

Mantra I’m feeling - ‘A negative mind will never give you a positive life ‘ - Unknown.

Wishing you all a weekend filled with wellness!

xo Jen
